class=\"eael-accordion-tab-title\">Steering Committee<\/span><i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fa-toggle fas fa-angle-right\"><\/i><\/div><div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2642\" class=\"eael-accordion-content clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" aria-labelledby=\"steering-committee\"><p>Steering Committee is consisted of the president and four members who are appointed and dismissed by the Government.<\/p><p>President and members of the Steering Committee are the Government representatives appointed among professionals in the field of health, veterinary medicine and environmental protection and one member is a representative of the employees proposed by the Institute.<\/p><p>Steering Committee members shall be appointed for the four-year period and may be reappointed.<\/p><p>The Steering Committee shall perform the following tasks:<\/p><ul><li>define the business policy and strategic objectives of the Institute;<\/li><li>adopt the Statute, the Act on internal organisation and jobs scheme, the Code of conduct and other general acts of the Institute;<\/li><li>issue secondary legislation for the implementation of this Law within the competences of the Institute;<\/li><li>adopt the Activity plan and Financial plan for each calendar year;<\/li><li>adopt the Annual activity report and financial and final accounts for each calendar year and submit it to the Government for information;<\/li><li>decide on the choice of an external auditor of annual financial statements of the Institute;<\/li><li>make investment decisions in accordance with the Statute of the Institute;<\/li><li>submit the Activity report to the Government at least once a year;<\/li><li>adopt the Rules of procedure;<\/li><li>perform other activities determined by the Law and Ana \u010cabarkapa \u2013 \u010dlanica<\/p><p>dr Biljana \u0160ukovi\u0107 \u2013 \u010dlanica<\/p><p>PharmD, An\u0111ela Dra\u0161kovi\u0107, member<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"eael-accordion-list\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"managing-director-\" class=\"elementor-tab-title eael-accordion-header\" tabindex=\"0\" data-tab=\"3\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2643\"><span class=\"eael-advanced-accordion-icon-closed\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fa-accordion-icon fas fa-plus\"><\/i><\/span><span class=\"eael-advanced-accordion-icon-opened\"><i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fa-accordion-icon fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span><span class=\"eael-accordion-tab-title\">Managing Director <\/span><i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fa-toggle fas fa-angle-right\"><\/i><\/div><div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2643\" class=\"eael-accordion-content clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" aria-labelledby=\"managing-director-\"><p>Managing Director is appointed and dismissed by the Steering Committee based on the public announcement for a five-year period and may be re-elected.<\/p><p>Managing Director shall:<\/p><ul><li>organise and manage the work of the Institute;<\/li><li>be responsible for the legality, efficiency and economical effectiveness of the Institute;<\/li><li>be responsible for the implementation of strategies, working programs and plans of the Institute;<\/li><li>pass decisions, i.e., administrative acts within the competences of the Institute, which are not the responsibility of the Steering Board of the Institute;<\/li><li>act upon the decisions of the Steering Board;<\/li><li>make decisions on the rights of the employees in accordance with the Law.<\/li><\/ul><p>Managing director of the Institute is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cinmed.me\/en\/our-team\/md-msc-phd-spec-snezana-mugosa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>MD, MSc, PhD, spec.
