DMD. Uroš Labudović is the head of the Centre for Medical Devices at the Institute for Medicines and Medical Devices of Montenegro (CInMED).
He was born in Berane where he completed elementary and high school. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica, study programme – Dentistry in 2012, where he has been engaged as a teaching assistant in the subject – Preclinical mobile dental prosthetics. He has been engaged at the Faculty of Medicine since 2014. Currently, he is a PhD student at the Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica.
He has been holding the position of the head of the Centre for Medical Devices since October 2021 and started working at the Institute in 2020. Prior to his appointment to the mentioned position at the Institute, he worked as a GDP inspector in the Inspectorate. He gained previous work experience in the Administration for Inspection Affairs in the Sector for environmental protection, safety and health of people, social and children care – Department for health and sanitary inspection in the Group of tasks for health supervision on the position of a health inspector with the powers of a sanitary inspector. He also worked in the health institutions as a doctor of dentistry and in multiple pharmaceutical companies as an expert associate for medicines and medical devices and a person responsible for vigilance and monitoring of medical devices on the market.
He is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge in Russian language.
He is married and has one child.
