PharmD, spec. Lidija Čizmović is the head of the Centre for Marketing and Safe Use of Medicines at the Institute for Medicines and Medical Devices of Montenegro (CInMED).

She was born in Nikšić where she completed elementary and high school. She graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Belgrade in 1994, where she completed her specialist academic studies in the field of Pharmacoeconomy and pharmacelutical legislation in 2005.

She has been holding the position of the head of the Centre for Marketing and Safe Use of Medicines since October 2021 and started working at the Institute in 2009 as the head of the Department for Medicines Consumption Monitoring and Setting Maximum Prices.

She gained previous work experience in the marketing department at the company Hemofarm a.d. Podgorica, on the position of an expert associate and as master of pharmacy in a pharmacy.

She is the co-author of numerous scientific papers in the country and abroad. In 2011 the Ministry of Health nominated her as a national focal point for the consumption of antibiotics within the Agreement between the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.

She is fluent in English.
